SHARE JESUS
​The Bible says in Proverbs 11:30, "the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. We love to do what Jesus did and what the Bible says. So, it's our goal to save as many souls as we can for the Kingdom of God! It all starts with a conversation.
At Cichlids, we are determined to help start those conversations with our branded hats, shirts, sunglasses, and other products! When you see another Cichlid family member, give them a high five or fist bump - we are in this together.

It's our vision to see as many souls saved as possible! Every single day, we make it a goal to share Jesus with at least 1 person. If we all did that, if we all evangelized to at least 1 person every single day, churches would be full, souls would be set free, and Jesus would be everywhere!
The conversations are fun and Jesus gives us what we need in the moment.
This is Jesse from a restaurant we went to in Waco, TX. I asked if he knew Jesus and praise the Lord, he did! We got to share a moment together and prayed over him and asked God for His hand of protection over our friend Jesse.
Cichlids: The Full Story
My family is all about Jesus! We are entrepreneurs, passionate about the things of God and we evangelize everywhere we go. We also enjoy fishing (I actually prefer to call it catching because we go to catch the fish, not just fish for them), bull frog hunting, taking walks as a family, riding 4-wheelers, nerf gun battles.

This year, 2025, we began our journey to owning a fish tank. Long story short, there's one fish that is our family favorite: a red parrot cichlid named "Goldie". Goldie has been a warrior since day 1 - he has survived every tank change, crazy tank mates pecking at him, being without water for 15 minutes when he jumped out of the tank one evening, and so much more.
The Holy Spirit on the inside of me gave me an idea to create a brand that would encourage people to witness, to evangelize, or to testify of God's goodness in their lives whether they were out fishing, at the grocery store, at the gym, at work, at school - everywhere. The passage in the Bible in Matthew where Jesus calls Peter and Andrew to be disciples jumped out at me; specifically the verse Matthew 4:19, which says, '"Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”'
I love wearing hats, and we love Goldie, who is a cichlid, so we created an image of a goldfish wearing a cross necklace and a hat that says "cichlids", as a play on the popular phrase "sick lids". And Cichlids was born! Now we wear our hats every day to do what we have always done: evangelize!
